The cover is gorgeous! I'm a big fan of the covers of this trilogy! When I started Destroy Me, I first thought it was Adam's point of view. When I realized it was actually Warner, I can't even tell you how disappointed I was. But the reality is quite different! Destroy Me is a MUST READ!! The point of view that I had in Do not leave me has TOTALLY changed, I have the impression that this news is absolutely ESSENTIAL to deepen the first volume. I didn't hate Warner in the first volume. I didn't like it, but I didn't hate it either. In this short story, we discover his deep secrets, his reasons, his desires, and above all his true feelings... The discovery of his true personality surprised me enormously! And... I like Warner. That's it! Throughout the book, we get to know the protagonist, and he reveals himself as we go. His feelings for Juliette are obviously discussed, and touched me a lot. - I asked myself the question of which of Warner or Adam could be more in love. I do not have the answer. - We also learn who the real villain of the story is - his father of course. Warner tells us a bit about his past, and his relationship with his father, which influences his reputation as a ruthless leader. But unable to disappoint his father or afford to lose Juliette - and believe me, losing Juliet sucks for his sanity - he plays a role, wears a mask about what he really thinks of The Reestablishment, and about his tender personality. Warner isn't capable of anything, rarely acts without acceptable reason, and worst of all, doesn't have that pretentiousness he had in the first book. He is ultimately a lovable villain. The Juliette - Warner relationship risks moving forward in the second volume. The writing of Tahereh Mafi is, like the first volume, super pretty and very poetic, although different, since it is a different point of view. The end ends with an extract from Unravel Me - longer than the VF - but I decided not to read it, because afterwards, I will not be able to bear the suspense, and I want to hold on until the VF

Shatter Me didn't really live up to my expectations at the time, so at first I wasn't sure if I should continue reading the series. Nevertheless, I tried the ebook Destroy Me, which is the connection between Shatter Me and Unravel Me. It picks up at the end of Volume 1, at the point where Juliette and Warner go their separate ways. I already liked Warner in Shatter Me, but I was also really scared of him and found him completely unsympathetic. Destroy Me is written from his point of view... and really good! I had to completely change my mind about Warner and I can honestly say that he's now my favorite of the series! No matter what comes next! Looking inside his head and reading his mind was just overwhelming. His world isn't what it seems and you realize that he's actually more of a victim than a perpetrator. His reasons for wanting Juliette so badly are surprising and very emotional. Even though he's more of a gruff character, he too has his romantic moments without realizing it. I'm so excited for Unravel Me, especially since Tahereh Mafi gave a tip regarding the relationship between Juliette and Warner... I hope for all readers without an ebook reader that you will also find out what kind of person in volume 2 Warner really is. It would be a shame if you missed that.
